Hunter Hall - Group Creative Director, Writer, TV Show Creator
About
Hunter considers himself incredibly blessed for his unique experience of living life as both a woman and a man. YES, he's a happy, proud trans man, "Mom" to two amazing daughters, and YES, he's happy to answer any questions.
Like, did he really major in advertising? Yes, UT has an awesome ad program, and he was the first student Fallon hired out of school.
From Fallon, he went to work with the brilliant Nick Cohen at Mad Dogs & Englishmen, then got his PhD in comedy from Cliff Freeman, and headed west to Wieden+Kennedy PDX, where he wrote for Nike, the WNBA, and Microsoft.
Then back to NYC, WKNY, where he was the sole voice of Michael Jordan and Brand Jordan for two years. He got married and pregnant — it happens — and moved home to Texas, where he was a GCD at TRG, writing his favorite tagline for Summer's Eve, "Hail to the V." As in vagina! Oh, the irony!
His next move was Observatory LA, now Crispin, where he was a GCD and part of the Nike Waffle Iron Entertainment team that got Sue Bird's film In the Clutch into Sundance and distributed on Netflix.
Hunter is now freelancing in NYC, where he created ACLU's "More Than a Game" campaign, starring Elliot Page, defending trans youth in sports. And THAT is what you call a full circle moment, where he truly found his purpose, writing and creating all sorts of things for his beloved LGBTQ+ community.

Interests
I'm a mom, so I'm obsessed with my two awesome Gen Z daughters and the fact that Taylor Swift was the soundtrack to their childhood.
I love all forms of culture and entertainment — from TV to music, film, art, books, and sports.
I also love a good thrift store, deep dives into spirituality, pine forests are so divine they make me cry, and ask me how I drop my "meat suit" when trail running.

Fun Fact
I hired a NYC taxi cab driver to drive me from NYC to LA for a film that never got made.
Background
I grew up in Plano, Texas and went to the University of Texas, where I majored in advertising and was a two-time All-American in cross country and track.
My childhood dream was to move to NYC and write for All My Children and/or just hang out with Erica Kane.
