Your Career Compass exists to help people navigate every stage of their career through guidance, practical strategy, meaningful relationships, education, and community.
Whether you're launching your first career, exploring new possibilities, navigating change, growing as a leader, or simply wondering what's next, our goal is to provide the support, perspective, and resources to help you move forward with confidence.
By accessing our website, purchasing a membership, booking coaching or Career Guide Conversations, participating in our community, attending events, or using any Your Career Compass services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Membership Agreement & Terms of Use.
1. About Your Career Compass
Your Career Compass is owned and operated by Clarity Coaching with Sam LLC, doing business as Your Career Compass ("Your Career Compass," "we," "our," or "us").
We provide career coaching, educational programming, community experiences, Career Guide Conversations, workshops, digital resources, and related services designed to support lifelong career development.
Our offerings are educational in nature and are intended to help individuals gain clarity, develop professionally, build meaningful relationships, and navigate career decisions with greater confidence.
2. Services
Your Career Compass currently offers a variety of educational and professional development services, including but not limited to:
Compass Membership
Compass Membership provides ongoing access to a private professional community designed to support career growth through learning, accountability, relationships, and shared experiences.
Membership benefits may include:

MAP Framework resources
Guide Interview Library
Community discussions
Networking opportunities
Member pricing on Career Guide Conversations
Additional educational programming
Membership benefits may change as Your Career Compass grows.
Career Coaching
Private coaching engagements with Samantha Glatzer are designed to help individuals gain clarity, strengthen their professional story, build career strategy, and move toward meaningful career goals.
Career Guide Conversations
Career Guide Conversations provide members and public participants with access to experienced professionals who share their own career experiences, industry insights, and professional perspectives.
Career Guide Conversations are informational and educational and are not recruiting or placement services.
Separate Career Guide Booking Terms apply to all Guide Conversations.

All resources are intended for personal educational use.
3. Compass Membership
Compass Membership is designed to provide ongoing career development, education, accountability, support, and meaningful connection.
Unlike traditional job search programs, Compass Membership is intended to support members throughout every stage of their career—not only while searching for a job.
Membership includes access to the benefits associated with your selected membership plan.
Quarterly Membership
Quarterly Membership renews automatically every three (3) months unless cancelled prior to the next billing date.
Annual Membership
Annual Membership renews automatically every twelve (12) months unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Annual Membership is offered at a discounted rate compared to quarterly membership.
Membership Changes
Your Career Compass continually evolves.
Programming, resources, guest speakers, educational content, technology platforms, and community features may change over time.
We reserve the right to improve, modify, replace, or discontinue individual features while maintaining the overall value of the membership.
4. Membership Renewal & Cancellation
Membership automatically renews according to the membership plan selected at checkout.
You may cancel future renewals at any time through your membership account or by contacting Your Career Compass before your next billing date.
Cancellation prevents future billing but does not result in a refund for the current membership period.
Members retain access until the end of their current paid membership term.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or approved by Your Career Compass.
5. Community Standards & Member Conduct
Compass Membership is built on curiosity, generosity, professionalism, respect, and meaningful connection. We strive to create a community where members feel safe asking questions, sharing experiences, and supporting one another throughout their careers.
By participating in the Compass community, you agree to contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Members agree to:
Treat all members, Career Guides, guest speakers, and Your Career Compass staff with professionalism, kindness, and respect.
Respect differing viewpoints and experiences.
Participate in discussions in a constructive and supportive manner.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Respect the confidentiality of conversations shared within the community.
Use the community for learning, networking, and professional growth.
Members may not:
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against others.
Use abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language.
Share another member's personal information without permission.
Record, screenshot, photograph, or distribute community content without authorization.
Use the community primarily to solicit business, recruit clients, or promote products or services without prior approval.
Misrepresent themselves or impersonate another individual.
Engage in conduct that disrupts the learning experience for others.
Your Career Compass reserves the right to remove content, suspend participation, or terminate membership if these standards are violated.
Membership termination resulting from violations of these Terms does not entitle the member to a refund.
6. Confidentiality
Your Career Compass encourages an environment of trust and mutual respect.
Members are expected to treat personal stories, career discussions, job search information, coaching conversations, and other sensitive information shared within the community as confidential.
Without the express permission of the individual involved, members agree not to share:
Job search status
Interview details
Career transitions
Personal stories
Contact information
Employer information
Screenshots from meetings or community discussions
Community posts or comments
Private messages
Meeting recordings
Although Your Career Compass promotes confidentiality, we cannot guarantee the actions of individual members.
Each participant remains responsible for exercising appropriate judgment when sharing personal information.
7. Recording, Photography & Media Release
To support ongoing learning and make educational content available to members who are unable to attend live sessions, Your Career Compass may record certain live programming.
Recorded programming may include:
Compass Connection Labs
Workshops
Office Hours
Guest Speaker Sessions
Guide Interviews
Webinars
Community Events
Other educational programming
These recordings may be added to the Compass Member Library and made available to current and future members.
Participation & Privacy
Participation in live events is voluntary.
If you prefer not to appear in recordings, you may:
Keep your camera turned off.
Change your Zoom display name to your first name, initials, or another identifier before joining.
Choose not to participate verbally.
Avoid sharing personal information in the public chat.
By participating in recorded events, you acknowledge that recording may occur.
Educational Use
Recorded programming may be used within Compass Membership for educational purposes, including replay libraries, resource collections, and member learning materials.
Marketing & Promotional Use
Your Career Compass may use excerpts, screenshots, photographs, audio clips, quotes, or short video segments from workshops, Connection Labs, Guide interviews, Office Hours, webinars, and other community events for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes.
This may include:
Social media
Email newsletters
Presentations
Printed marketing materials
Future educational content
Whenever practical, we will make reasonable efforts to avoid sharing sensitive personal career information.
If content prominently features an individual member discussing personal career circumstances beyond ordinary participation, we will generally request additional permission before using that content publicly.
Private Career Guide Conversations
Private one-to-one Career Guide Conversations are confidential and are not recorded by Your Career Compass.
Neither participants nor Career Guides may record a private Guide Conversation without the express consent of both parties.
If both parties agree to record a session, the recording is intended solely for personal reference and may not be copied, distributed, published, or shared without the written permission of both the participant and the Career Guide.
Unauthorized Recording
Members may not independently record, photograph, screenshot, livestream, reproduce, or distribute Compass programming or community content without prior written permission from Your Career Compass.
Unauthorized recording or distribution may result in suspension or termination of membership.
8. Career Guide Conversations
Career Guide Conversations are one of the unique ways Your Career Compass connects members and guests with experienced professionals across a variety of industries, career paths, and functional roles.
Career Guides share their personal experiences, perspectives, and professional insights to help participants make more informed career decisions.
Career Guide Conversations are intended to provide guidance, education, encouragement, and perspective.
They are not:
Employment services
Recruiting services
Job placement services
Career counseling
Legal, financial, or medical advice
Ongoing mentorship unless otherwise agreed by the Career Guide
Booking a Career Guide Conversation does not guarantee:
Employment
Interviews
Internships
Job offers
Referrals
Introductions
Resume reviews
Portfolio reviews
LinkedIn reviews
Any specific career outcome
Each Career Guide independently determines the type of guidance they choose to provide.
Career Guides are independent professionals and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Your Career Compass.
Additional booking policies are outlined in the Career Guide Booking Policy, which forms part of this Agreement.
9. Career Coaching
Private coaching services are designed to help clients gain clarity, build confidence, strengthen professional positioning, develop career strategy, and move toward meaningful career goals.
Coaching is a collaborative process.
While Samantha Glatzer brings extensive recruiting, coaching, and career development experience, clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, and implementation.
Coaching is not:
Therapy
Mental health treatment
Legal advice
Financial advice
Tax advice
Recruiting
Placement services
Unless otherwise stated in writing, coaching fees are non-refundable once coaching has begun.
Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation policies provided at the time of booking also apply.
10. Workshops, Events & Educational Programming
Your Career Compass regularly offers educational programming designed to support members throughout their careers.
Programming may include:
Workshops
Office Hours
Compass Connection Labs
Guest Speaker Sessions
Guide Interviews
Webinars
Networking Events
Community Discussions
Programming topics, speakers, schedules, and formats may change without notice.
Your Career Compass reserves the right to modify programming based on member needs, scheduling, or business requirements.
11. Payments
Payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment providers, including Stripe and other secure payment processors.
By purchasing any Your Career Compass service, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method.
If a recurring membership is selected, you authorize automatic renewal according to your selected membership plan until cancelled.
Failure to maintain a valid payment method may result in suspension or termination of membership benefits.
12. Refund Policy
Because Compass Membership, coaching services, workshops, and Career Guide Conversations reserve resources, scheduling, and access immediately upon purchase, fees are generally non-refundable.
Specific refund policies include:
Compass Membership
Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.
Members may cancel future renewals at any time.
Cancellation prevents future billing but does not refund the current membership period.
Career Coaching
Unless otherwise stated in writing, coaching engagements are non-refundable once coaching has begun.
Career Guide Conversations
Career Guide Conversation cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are governed by the separate Career Guide Booking Policy.
Digital Resources
Unless otherwise specifically stated, downloadable products, digital resources, templates, recordings, and educational materials are non-refundable after purchase.
Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests resulting from extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed at the sole discretion of Your Career Compass.
Approval of any exception does not create an obligation to provide future refunds.
13. Intellectual Property
All content created, provided, or made available through Your Career Compass is the intellectual property of Clarity Coaching with Sam LLC, unless otherwise noted.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Workshops and presentations
Worksheets
Videos and recordings
Guide Interviews
Career Resource Library
Downloadable templates
Educational materials
Branding
Logos
Website content
Written materials
Graphics
Community resources
Your membership or purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access these materials for your own personal educational use.
You may not:
Copy
Sell
Republish
Modify
Distribute
Upload
Share
Reproduce
Teach from
License
any Your Career Compass materials without prior written permission.
Unauthorized use may result in termination of membership and legal action where appropriate.
14. Technology & Third-Party Platforms
Your Career Compass utilizes third-party technology platforms to deliver its services, including but not limited to:
Circle
Zoom
Acuity Scheduling
Stripe
Email service providers
Website hosting providers
Video hosting platforms
While we make every effort to provide uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee that third-party platforms will operate without interruption or technical issues.
Your Career Compass is not responsible for outages, delays, platform failures, internet connectivity issues, or other technical problems beyond our reasonable control.
15. Bridge Fund
The Compass Bridge Fund exists to help make career support more accessible to individuals experiencing financial hardship.
Bridge Fund assistance is awarded solely at the discretion of Your Career Compass and is subject to available funding.
Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance.
Bridge Fund contributions are voluntary and non-refundable.
16. Disclaimer
Your Career Compass provides educational resources, coaching, community programming, and professional development services.
Nothing provided through Your Career Compass should be interpreted as:
Legal advice
Financial advice
Tax advice
Medical advice
Mental health treatment
Employment guarantees
Recruiting services
Placement services
Career decisions remain the sole responsibility of each participant.
While we strive to provide thoughtful guidance and practical resources, we cannot guarantee specific career outcomes, employment opportunities, interviews, promotions, salary increases, business success, or other individual results.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Coaching with Sam LLC, DBA Your Career Compass, its employees, contractors, Career Guides, guest speakers, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in Your Career Compass services, including but not limited to coaching, membership, Career Guide Conversations, workshops, digital resources, community participation, or use of the website.
Your participation is voluntary, and you assume responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
18. Changes to These Terms
Your Career Compass may update these Membership Agreement & Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services, community, or applicable laws.
Material changes will be communicated through the website, Compass community, or email.
Continued participation after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
