How to Respond to a job post on LinkedIn

I keep seeing incredible job opportunities posted.
And then I scroll through the comments.
“Hit me up.”
“Interested.”
🔥🔥🔥
And I think…
If I were recruiting for this role, I know who I’d look at first.
Let’s be honest.
When a recruiter posts a job, they’re busy. They’re scanning fast.
The candidates who make the recruiter’s job easier… are easier to see.
They don’t just announce they’re interested.
They show why.
Instead of:
“Hit me up.”
Try:
“I’m an Art Director with 4 years of experience in luxury and cosmetics. I just applied and would love to connect.”
Now you’ve caught my eye. And isn’t that the point?
Next, I will look at your portfolio, which I hope is in your contact info in your LinkedIn profile. If it's not. Put it there right now!
Now I know:
• What you do
• Your level
• Your relevance
That’s helpful.
That’s professional.
That stands out.
